You know all about the Nazis. But did you know some of the things they did are, in concept, being done in the USA, the UK and other parts of the Christendom? I use that word loosely. Eugenics seeks to annihilate the mentally handicapped minorities and the terminally ill. This article is an introduction to a series of articles on eugenics, sex-selected-abortion, human embryonic stem cell, research, and physician assisted suicide. The Bible will be applied to these controversial subjects.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.”

– Proverbs 14:34

Murder on all accounts. That is the verdict.

We are all aware and weary of the statistics on shootings, suicides, and the horror of death in our communities. Satan stole the show when he deceived Eve and Adam. He took their souls by kneeling on their desire to have the wisdom of gods. Their spirits died from unity with the God of life with the worldly wisdom of sin. (Genesis 3) Adam’s death was caused by the deceptive liar, Satan. The number of people becoming like the Devil with their lies, deception and murder is incredible. We are seeing it on the streets via the media.

“You are of a father—the Devil, and the desires of your father you will to do; he was a manslayer from the beginning, and he has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him; when one may speak the falsehood, he speaks of his own, because he is a liar—also his father.” (John 8:44 Literal Standard Version)

Sin merits death, separation from the living God (Romans 6:23). But the gift is continuous life in Jesus Christ our Lord. When we yield to the grace of God, we become innocent by the blood of Jesus shed on the cross.

The worst and most gruesome ways to take lives are acceptable.

While we are extremely against murder in the form of shootings, we debate things the Nazis were in favor of in WWII. And parts of our free society want to accept the issue of murder in the following forms. The Bible tells the truth, albeit controversial.

Eugenics

In most forms, eugenics is a diabolical evil. In history, government programs, like the Nazis, aimed to kill minority populations. But what about the USA? Yes, right here in America. Eugenics seeks to annihilate the mentally handicapped, minorities, and the terminally ill. Let me explain some threads to this point.

Sex-selected abortions.

Sex-selected abortion is when a parent decides to end a pregnancy because she wants to choose for herself whether she gives birth to a boy or girl. If you think this is something only the rich elite do, think again. Planned parenthood encourages the construction of abortion clinics in minority areas.

A little research on your part will demonstrate a sickness on the part of those who want to breed out minorities and the mentally handicapped, by aborting the weak. This is an ungodly thing to do. It cuts against the will of God who knits children together in the womb.

“The oracle of the word of the LORD concerning Israel: Thus declares the LORD, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him.” (Zechariah 12:1)

Embryonic stem cell research

Embryonic stem cell research on humans is unethical and anti-Christian. Embryos are human babies in their earliest stage of life. God handcrafts a person’s spirit together with care. Scientists prefer the embryo over other stem cells because of the pure qualities of it. Like king Cyrus, Isaiah 45, and the book of Ezra where the prophecy is fulfilled, the Biblical reality is God knows everyone by name before they are conceived.

According to James 2:26, the body without the spirit is dead. Where human life exists, there is a spirit.  When the embryo is murdered the spirit returns to God who made it. But, to destroy an embryo is murder when science kills. An evil deed shall not go unpunished.

“For behold, I begin to work disaster at the city that is called by my name, and shall you go unpunished? You shall not go unpunished, for I am summoning a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth, declares the LORD of hosts.” (Jeremiah 29:25 English Standard Version)

Euthanasia

Dr. Kevorkian was an American pathologist and euthanasia proponent. He publicly championed a terminal patient’s right to die by physician-assisted suicide, embodied in his quote, “Dying is not a crime,” Kevorkian said that he assisted at least 130 patients to that end. (Wikipedia) Dr. Kevorkian went to prison. His philosophies are no longer shackled there. Euthanasia of the terminally ill is and always will be murder, even though in some physician circles it is now considered merciful.

Simple doctrine and Bible truth.

People like to make simple truth complicated. God’s truth is clear, “You will not murder.” (Romans 13:9). I suppose you will call me narrow-minded, but I take that precisely as written. Time has proven when Christians teach the Gospel, people turn to Father God for hope. This country needs a lot more inspiration than Lady Liberty is offering today. God’s Word will not return to Him in vain (Isaiah 55:11).

Jesus is the greater light, and we are the lower beams. This nation has been through much pain and division. Believers show life and unity in Christ by allowing the world to see the glorious light we walk in. Because of the Gospel, we have hope. The Bible we teach is not a meaningless mission. God says,

“So is My word that goeth out of My mouth, It turneth not back unto Me empty, But hath done that which I desired, And prosperously effected that for which I sent it.” (Isaiah 55:11 Young’s Literal Translation)

We all have been exposed for our sins. Falling short of glorifying God seems to be our reality (Romans 3:23). Even so, Christians alone have Jesus Christ’s sacrifice to enable them to stand in God’s grace. (Romans 5:1-2). Satan sought to destroy Him as a babe. The world can be a hateful place no matter the historical era. You and I have hope.

Believers who walk in the light have no cause to fear the ruffian types who steal and stab for their own pleasure. But fear and being tossed into an everlasting black fire where Jesus says there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (Matthew 24:51). Ultimately, man can do nothing to us. God can do it all.

Does the Bible Endorse Racism?

Racism

Livebiggerfaith.com

Racism in Scripture dates to the days Jews were enslaved to make bricks for Pharaoh. It seems the Egyptians were growing richer and fatter while the Jews were systemically rearing generations of “lower class” farmers. God leads Moses to Pharaoh in Exodus to say, “Let My people Go!” This article will answer the title question in the negative. The Bible does not endorse racism, regardless of how some Christians discriminate against ethnic cultures different from their own. Our loving God hates racism but desires every soul to come to Jesus.

Racism in the Church

My first experience of “white” Christians hating those of a different color was in a small town north of Dallas. Back then people called a black and white married couple mixed and it was derogatory to do so. The church which I was a member of at the time was rude to newcomers. In this instance a black man and his Caucasian wife entered the church building to worship God with fellow believers. I will have you know not a single member of that congregation said hello or give a head nod. Nope, not even a howdy. I am not being judgmental. I am merely stating what I saw. Friend, when it comes to saving souls black lives do matter. And of course, I hear you when you reply, “all lives matter.” You are right; they do. But do you get the point that showing prejudice when God’s Word strictly and forthrightly condemns racial bias.

Character of Christ

Racism is not in accord with the character of Christ. Jesus became as human as any person is. All believers are a united body in Christ (Ephesians 4:4). He became like me so that I might be like Him. According to Galatians 1:28, all believers are one. A couple verses a fore, we see that all baptized converts stand on equal ground at the foot of the cross. Regardless of ethnicity, race, gender, or culture, we are together in Jesus.

“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for as many as were immersed into Christ put on Christ; there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither servant nor freeman, there is neither male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus” (Galatians 3:26-28).

If you have put on Christ and someone of a different ethnicity has put on Christ, then your soul must become color blind. People look on the outward appearance, but God sees within the soul. To seek and save the lost we too must look past the outer coat of skin and investigate the heart of those seeking the will of God.

“[Is He] only the God of Jews, and not also of nations?” (Romans 3:29).

The Gospel Call to All

God is calling all people to turn to Him (Acts 3:19). Thus, God is no respecter of persons. Meaning God does not discriminate on whom He saves based on skin color, ethnicity and so forth. It does not matter whether you are a man or woman. God wants you to be saved.

“And Peter having opened his mouth, said, ‘Of a truth, I perceive that God is not favoring by appearance, but in every nation he who is fearing Him, and is working righteousness, is acceptable to Him’” (Acts 10:34-35).

“For there is no favor by appearance with God” (Romans 2:11).

No Favoritism Allowed

Moreover, believers must not favor the rich over the poor (James 2:1-9). But do you agree with me that Christians who do not show equal favor to everyone, on wealth, station, fame, or race are hateful? I know you have seen it happen.

No Bible Abuse Allowed

Some have taken these passages I have presented to twist them and abuse the word racism by extending it to include areas where Christians must discriminate. There are some are areas where believers must discern between people lovingly where differences of religion and sinful behaviors are concerned. For example, if a person has not obeyed the Gospel call, then the Bible expects us to judge that person has not yet been saved. I use the word judge to say discerning between the saved and the lost; between those living in sinful behaviors and those who are living upright in the faith of Christ. If we cannot do this, then we may as well close our Bible to seeking to save those whom God says are not saved.

Ethnic Evangelism

Evangelism must reach out to all races and social groups. It must go to the ends of the earth, to all nations. The Great Commission is a model to be repeated in every generation. Beware! Those who preach the superiority of any race above another is not a loving person. Hate of any person is a sin, including those of a different ethnic group.

Pharaoh was forced to let God’s people go. Must we drown in the sea of rebellion like him? No. We will humble ourselves today while it’s called today. Tomorrow may be too late. Hey Adversary, let God’s people go!

Elements of the Greatest Philosopher

by Donny Weimar

The forgotten world of Ionia gives birth to the first seekers of knowledge for its own sake. Pursuing knowledge in a scientific, free and unprejudiced spirit. In the cradle of philosophy is giving birth to the first philosophers who would influence the fullness of time. Thales, has the reputation of being the first Ionian philosopher. He believes the origin and substance of all that exists is water. Others after him will argue for fire. Empecodles threw himself into a volcano because he had become a god. Three hundred years before the birth of the Christ, Plato will present his theory of the psyche, which is the soul. How true is all this? As a Bible student, recall something Jesus says.

Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.” (John 3:5-8 NKJV)

Nicodemus is thinking to himself, what is he talking about?!? “How can a man enter his mothers womb and be reborn?” Empedocles taught reincarnation. That is not what the Master teacher is teaching. Water is a substance of the new life. The origin of the spiritual species. Spiritual rebirth is the regeneration of the Spirit within us. The greatest thinker of all times is the Master Teacher. He is applying the philosophies of His time to make a special revelation from God to mortals. All the knowledge that has been growing in the mind of the pre-socratics is coming to a head, which the Bible calls the fullness of times (Galatians 4:4).

The month was May. The year 33 C.E. Thousands were gathered in Jerusalem for Pentecost. Jews from every nationality. A rushing breath of wind, comes the Holy Spirit, lighting on the disciples as fire upon them. Each of those who speaks the gospel declares it in a foreign tongue. They preach the oracles of God. When the apostle Peter’s famous sermon ends, the penitent ask, “Men and brethren, what must we do?” He gives them the directives to “repent and let every one of you be baptized for the forgiveness of sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).

Water. Wind. Spirit. Fire. As the philosophers understand the world from their unique perspectives, the church comes into new life through special revelation. The former come to their “knowledge” retrospect to their perception of the surrounding universe. The later know spiritual creation through faith giving sight in the cosmos within them. Jesus did not copy the Ionians. He used their terminology to communicate God’s grace to humanity.

Some philosophers attempted to explain One God. “God is the universal Reason (logos), the universal law immanent in all things, binding all things, into a unity and determining the constant change in the universe according to universal law.” Scripture says “In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God” (John 1:1). Word is the English translation of the ancient Greek logos (Reason). The Reason became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:14). Without a standardized definition for good, there can be no evil. Jesus is the Word establishing the morals of right from wrong. He expounds God’s law of what is good, and righteous, and proper. Those are the topics discussed by the Platonic three hundred years before Christ. Jesus agrees that man’s reason is a moment in the universal Reason. A contraction of it, and men so are to strive to meet the viewpoint of reason and to live by the Logos, realizing the reality of all are in the Word whom we Christians worship.

From the cradle of Ionian to the birth of Christ, knowledge of reason and truth is pursued. In the Word we find the truth of water baptism, the wind of the Spirit, and the fire of life. Our world is united in the true living God who shares the special revelation of Himself in the Bible. We are reborn but not reincarnated. We are remade to reason all unto fairness, goodness and right living. If we but die into dark nothingness, we profit nothing. If we change into another existence, death is a welcoming friend; we ought to live morally either way. That is the best manner. Thus, we strive not to live for the cares of today. Instead we seek the upward and higher calling of the One God.

Impeach the Beast! – This is the end of national worry.

Our nation is having difficulty with the public debate over impeachment of the president. A greater danger stands in our way. The Beast is neither Democrat nor Republican. Not Hillary Clinton, Barrack Obama, neither Donald Trump. It goes much deeper than that. The issue is greater than our society, though the collective body of individual citizens through whom the Beast often operates. It slays unborn babies, erects walls of hostility and permits evil, which such not even be spoken.

We speak of an invisible being to the human eye. He prowls the earth seeking to devour your soul (1 Peter 5:8). This sly one is Satan. Corrupted politicians who bear his mark, regardless of their party alliance have devised the schemes that repress godliness. Isn’t it valid to say Americans at large are alien sinners to God? Yes, even amongst churches in the Bible belt. The Devil wants to instill division and terror into our nation and into the family of Christ. He will carry out his goal if we allow him. Divided we fall.

“Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, ‘Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.'” – Matthew 12:25 (ESV)

Satan works diligently to destroy all good. Our country was founded on Christian principles, even if some of our forefathers were not believers. They designed our government to be accountable to the Lord and the people (Hebrews 13). But, we have as a nation forgotten the old paths (Romans 1:18).

“Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” – 1 John 3:4 (KJV). Terrible national politics is stirring anxiety in us. Although I doubt we will ever have a second civil war, I know for a fact that we are in war with the Beast. Our crime against God is sin. Scripture says, “Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” – 1 John 3:4 (KJV) and our crime national sin will rip us to shreds.

We will overcome the Beastly enemy, by giving Father God room in our hearts to crush him within (Romans 16:20). The Devil is not the fault of our sin, he influences our ideas. Where did the idea of abortion come from? Satan. Where did the idea of legalizing prostitution come from? Satan. The way we are going to save our country is to put righteous ideas in the minds of those governing us.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” – Proverbs 14:34 (ESV)

Is Jesus Fair and Just? A miracle of biblical proportion.

The man at the pool had been trying to get wet to receive a miracle from an angel for thirty-eight years. God took measures to heal and lead him to Jesus. Listen in on a Bible study led by Donny Weimar on John chapter 5. The class moves through the two testimonies of God, explains God’s justice and answers questions about whether being in ignorance about sin in one’s life is excusable to God. It all starts with a miracle of biblical proportions.

A Christian May Be the Executioner

I have a good friend from my younger years who said Christians must separate from civil government. There were roles for each, he believed. His idea was based primarily on Isaiah 2:4, “…they shall learn war no more.” Surely, violence ceases in Christ. If everyone in society were faithful Christians to the T, there would be no crime. But, the Bible does not deal with hypotheticals, everyone is not a faithful Christian and the prophecy of Isaiah was one of peace by the Peacemaker. Our peace is with one another by being right with God. Another argument he often used was Jesus’s statement “To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either” (Luke 6:29 NKJV). The Lord does address crime here, but only a personal expense. He does not say we aren’t to protect our family and neighbors. If necessary, we should lay down our lives to protect them – that is the greatest love. The namby-pamby attitude some people take about Christians being soldiers, policeman, prison guards or the guy with the lethal injection needle in his hand, is not cohesive with a biblical understanding.

God is just, and God is love. Therefore, justice is love. Christians are to be loving towards their neighbors (Matthew 22:39). Thus, to love our neighbors Christians must be just. Christians may be a justice of the peace. To keep said peace a civil judge of the court is authorized by Romans 13 to send murderers to death row. Christians must be just by righteous judgement (John 7:24). Therefore, Christians may serve as a justice of the peace, a judge. This truth trickles down to the police who are authorized to stop criminal behavior and arrest guilty parties. That is why a police officer carries a gun and under legal circumstances may use lethal action to stop criminals from harming others. Furthermore, Christians are citizens in the democracy we live in. Since we are permitted to vote, we are authorized to be the candidate. The candidate, then the official. The official, then the authority to send troops to war. The authority to send troops to war, then the right to bear arms in national conflict. The right to be a soldier, then an executioner of those rightfully on death row.  I’m sure more could be said. The bottom line is, Christians have the right to be a part of civil government in every aspect to govern the society in which we live, to include the right to be an executioner of those who have severely broken the law.
